Frequently Asked Question
Students must be manually enrolled into Moodle courses. Before a student can be enrolled they must first be registered.
Once a student is registered either a teacher or site administrator can enroll the student into a course.
As a teacher who has already signed in:
Find the course you wish to enrolled the student in. In my example I will be enrolling "Sample Student" into Life Sciences 11.
Once in the course, click on participants:
Click Enrol Users on the top right:
A new pop-up window will open.
1) Enter part or all of the students name in the search box. When you see the students name select it.
2) Ensure that the Assign role has the student selected as "Student" (this should be so by default).
3) Click on Enrol elected users and cohorts.
